Young swan with wings spread. This is one of the first photos taken with my new camera. Scott got me a Canon Digital Rebel and a 100-400mm lens to try to capture some of the shots that were too far away for the Nikon CP995 or CP4500.

A pond in the deep ravine left by the strip mine that used to occupy this land. This is taken with the 18-55mm lens that came with the camera, set to 18 for a really wide-angle view.
